These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things #4

I have a confession to make. I have had a super lazy week as I had a couple of days of holiday from work and I spent the majority of those days in bed with a cold. Just to confirm - I am not normally this pathetic with a runny nose but seeing as I had the days off anyway I just felt like wallowing! This lack of social interaction (I honestly didn't get out of my duvet for a continuous 24 hours at one point) means that I don't have many favourites this week. However, by the end of the weekend I managed to haul myself out of bed long enough to go to the tastiest burger restaurant in all of Leeds which was definitely the one highlight of my week.

You probably know about my love for burgers by now, and that my friend Hannah and I are aiming to go to every single burger restaurant in Leeds before we finish uni (she finishes this year so it's just a great excuse to go to one every time I visit). This weekend we tried out Get Baked: The Joint with my boyfriend Ed and it was soooooo good. I got a standard beef burger like I always do and although it was lovely, it was Ed who really lucked in with his fried chicken, maple syrup and bacon burger. It sounds kinda gross but it was actually incredible for fans of salty and sweet combos, and I have never heard of a burger like it before! We also got fries with baconaise and bacon bits (yum) and just to ensure that we definitely got diabetes, we topped the meal off with oreo, brownie and nutella sundaes. We were all in heaven, and my food baby and I were still in a bloated daze when I went to bed that evening.

So to round up, this burger place gets a big patty (DO YOU GET IT?!) on the back from me. The only thing I would change next time would be not going with Ed. He doesn't understand the instagramming-before-eating life and so he ruined both of the above photos by tucking into the food as soon as it arrived. Who does that these days? Everything must be photographed first! Just kidding, I will go to this place with literally anyone if it means that I can get my hands on that ice cream sundae again *drools*
