My MAC Palette Tour

From left to right: Naked Lunch (very pale - can't be seen very clearly), All That Glitters, Soba, Patina, Satin Taupe, Nylon, Quarry, Omega, Charcoal Brown, Mystery

It's time for a post that I have been intending to write since I started my blog two months ago. Welcome world to my MAC eyeshadow palette *insert heart eyed emoji*.

To anyone who is unfamiliar with the concept of MAC eyeshadow palettes, you can pick up to 15 eyeshadow pans of your choice (you can also get smaller palettes with space for 2 or 4 pans which are ideal for travelling) to make a shadow selection that is perfectly tailored to your taste. This is not a cheap option at £10 a pop for the eyeshadows plus a little extra for the palette itself (top tip for all UK readers - these are soooo much cheaper in the US so pop one on your shopping list if you are visiting soon) but the beautiful range and quality of shadows more than makes up for it. And I love that the pans are magnetic and easy to transfer so you can chop and change your shadows as trends move on - totally future proof.

That being said, I have played it safe with the ten shadows that I own so far. If you are a regular at MAC counters, you will probably recognise all of the heavyweights pictured above. They are all classic neutral eyeshadows that make for a super chic looking palette that I absolutely adore. I can't help looking at the last five slots and thinking about branching into some more adventurous shades though, I would love to hear if anyone has any suggestions. My eyes are on Starviolet and Sumptuous Olive at the moment but I am very open to new ideas, I need an excuse to buy some new offerings!
