These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things #7

Has anyone else started to feel super summery this week? I don't know what it is because the weather here in Nottingham is as cold and grey as ever but I'm feeling positive that we're going to get some sun soon! Brace yourselves for a summer themed weekly favourites...

1) Primark Home Section
I wrote this post raving about Primark a couple of weeks ago and they've done it again with their new home collection for spring. I was inspired by Zoella’s recent Primark haul to make a trip and while I wasn't too bothered about the clothes due to my fairly recent spree (fun fact – me and Zoella own the same kimono but I got it first, such a trendsetter) but their new homeware stuff is blooming gorgeous. Blooming is an appropriate word here as one of my favourite bits from the new range is a flowery bedding set that looks like it has come straight from Ted Baker. However, the pieces that I love the most are the really fun and summer themed bits like the flamingo and pineapple cushions. I find that a lot of bloggers talk about changing up their d├ęcor for different seasons which is never something I have done (bar Christmas, obvs) because I didn’t think I could afford it. Now I have picked up a whole range of goodies from Primark for under £10 in total and my whole room is looking brighter and ready for summer. I love it!

2) Coral Makeup
I tend to wear dark berry and red toned lip colours and matte skin in the winter so as the weather is perking up a bit, I have been perking up my makeup choices too. I have recently been loving matching coral lips to coral cheeks as it makes my face look more fresh and radiant. The great thing about this makeup look is that it is super minimal as the coral accents are the main event so all I do is add a slick of mascara and I’m ready to go. My favourite products to do this are the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Tipsy, the Revlon Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya and the Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon in Peach on the Beach.

3) Lilt
This is such a random one but I haven’t been able to stop drinking Lilt recently! I don’t know if you have noticed from my other weekly favourites because I haven’t mentioned it much but I am feeling in the mood for sun and Lilt is pure summer in a sip. I am going on holiday in a couple of weeks and this yummy soft drink is helping me get one stop closer to imagining than I am lying by the pool in Cyprus with a tropical cocktail in hand, I cannot wait!
